Achieve Your Vision
In Three Steps
Approaching a garden redesign can feel a bit daunting, but we're here to keep progress on track with our three simple design phases. Please find a detailed overview of each phase of work below:
Phase 1
Client Brief, Site Survey and Concept Proposal
This first phase is where we gather all the information required to be able to create your dream garden.

Initial Meeting and Consultation
We start with a friendly visit to your garden to understand what you love, what needs changing, and how you use the space. We will ask that you answer a client questionnaire to ensure that we have all the information we need from you. Together, we’ll explore new ideas, assess existing features, and shape a sustainable vision for your garden that suits your lifestyle.
Site Survey
We will undertake a site survey to map the dimensions and terrain of your garden for precise design and construction as well as assessing the conditions of the site so that we can understand what plants, materials and features will work best where.
Base Plan
We will produce a 2D scaled drawing of your garden which will become the basis of your new garden design.
Proposal and Vision
We will create a tailored concept proposal outlining the initial ideas and vision as well as the base plan of your garden.

Phase 2
Concept Design
After our initial meeting and survey work we move into the concept design phase, which bridges the gap between your initial ideas and the final Garden Master Plan needed to bring the garden to life.

Mood Board
We will create a mood board to show the styles and themes we are basing the design on as well as the types of plants, colours and materials we plan to use.
Concept Design
You will receive a beautifully drawn 2D design that shows exactly where each feature will go: patios, paths, planting beds, structures, and more. It’s your garden, fully imagined. You will also be able to see 3D visualisations of key areas of the garden to understand how they will look once created.
Materials Selection
We help you choose all the right materials—stone, timber, lighting, and more—that match your style, stand the test of time, and support our shared commitment to sustainability. You will be able to see how different materials look when applied to the 3D model of your garden.

Client Feedback and Revisions
You will work with us to review the design and we will make any necessary adjustments before moving onto the next phase of work, the production of your Garden Master Plan.

Phase 3
Detailed Design and Master Plan
With your concept design finalized, we move into the detailed design phase, where conceptual ideas are turned into actionable plans for construction.

Detailed Design
We take your approved outline design and fine-tune every detail—down to the last curve and corner.

Construction Ready Drawings
To make sure your garden is built just as you envisioned, we create technical drawings for any bespoke features—like raised beds, walls, steps, or pergolas. These detailed illustrations give landscapers everything they need to get it right the first time.

Planting Plans
Once the dimensions of planting areas are confirmed, we will then produce planting plans. We will select plants suited to your gardens conditions as well as your personal taste and preference—offering year-round beauty, colour, texture, and habitat for wildlife. You’ll receive a full planting map, along with a list of species included in your garden.
